Sometimes “half for later” simply becomes “all for now” 🤎🍪

The vegan option doesn’t need to be the sad little afterthought at the end of the counter.

It can be a huge crumb-topped muffin.
A jammy, buttercream-filled Viennese whirl.
The bake somebody chooses simply because it looks the best — whether they’re vegan or not.

That’s always been the point of Ve‑Bakes: proper, indulgent bakery treats that just happen to be vegan 🌾🍓✨

Which are you reaching for first: muffin or Viennese whirl?

You can grab these raspberry crumble muffins and blackcurrant Viennese whirls from @replenishcollective @ @bustler_derby today! 🤎

Every single one of you that ordered from me, I’m so greatful for! 🫶🏻

Of course money matters. Bookings matter. Reach matters. Ve-Bakes is a business, and I’d be lying if I pretended otherwise.

I’ve just stopped treating those numbers—or how exhausted I am—as the complete definition of success.

Mine often looks like working bloody hard for a stretch, enjoying the intensity and the buzz, then taking a proper break long enough to genuinely switch off.

It looks like repeat customers, creative freedom, appropriate pricing and keeping Ve-Bakes intentionally small—not because I lack ambition, but because this is the version of the business I actually want.

Success can become much quieter once you stop trying to make it look impressive from the outside. 🤍

Has your definition of success changed too?
